Recently I photographed a family who I have now been 'shooting' for the past 2 or 3 years. Little Bella is now big sister to baby brother Zac and the two together are beautiful! Here are some of my favourites from our shoot...

Sara & Damian's Wedding
Well, they were both just gorgeous! The wedding of Sara and Damian took place on Saturday 19th November in the parish of St Mary's in Jindera, just outside Albury. The church was packed with family, friends and well wishers. After the ceremony there was a lovely spread of afternoon tea for everyone in the parish hall next door before guests met again for the evening reception at the Albury Club. In between the two receptions, we went to both the historic Albury train station and then the botanic gardens for the wedding photos... Here are some shots from the day to whet your appetite... so for more, go to the Wedding link above...

The people's choice!
Hi everyone and thank you to all of you who voted for your favourite version of the Front Lane Photography logo.
The response was great and overall there was a clear favourite. As you may have already guessed, the favourite was the black background - and there it is at the top of this blog page! Yes, 70% of respondents preferred the black background.
I have to say, I received some wonderfully well thought out feedback from some of you and I'd particularly like to thank Steve Lawrence and John Collins who both considered the relative merits of both options both from a symbollic and philosophical perspective. I really appreciated your thoughts. Thanks also to Helen Wagner whose eloquence in stating that the black backround was 'a bloody ripper' was almost unsurpassed! I was also very touched to see a vote cast by my dad and Marlene. But there can only be one winner of the portrait session and that is... Annie who advised me that the white background played tricks with her eyes and that the black background was found to be more stronger, clearer and elegant. Thank you Annie! I'll contact you shortly to arrange your session.
Well thanks again to everyone. Don't forget to visit my facebook page and give me your 'like'... it all helps! Just look for Front Lane Photography.

Be the person to send me the most creative and inspiring feedback on the logo and you will win a portrait session, valued at $250.
All you have to do is tell me which logo you prefer.

Down to business...
It was a day of all things 'business' and what a busy day it was...
I started by shooting for three amazing and inspiring ladies who coach and guide others to succeed in business with advice from starting out, business planning, marketing and exit strategies and then I met with my own brand design consultant to begin the process of designing my own brand and logo for Front Lane Photography. A fantastic, inspiring, encouraging day accompanied by glorious sunshine and, unbelievably, minimal traffic congestion...!!
